In the St. Louis area, 45 percent of homeless youth have been turned away from shelters due to lack of capacity. And each night, 1,500 youth are on the streets or without safe shelter in the St. Louis region. Will you help us end youth homelessness?

Youth In Need’s Young Professionals Group (YPG) will hold its fourth annual Step-Up and Sleep-Out event with socially distanced options to participate at Youth In Need or own your own. Participants will be raising money and awareness to help end youth homelessness in the St. Louis region. Follow Youth In Need
and YPG on Facebook to stay updated on the event and learn about youth homelessness in our community.

Sleep-Out . . .

. . . on Site

Join YPG for an in-person sleep out from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2022. Proper social distancing guidelines will be in place. In addition to sleeping out, participants will be invited to watch a video and have an in-person discussion about youth homelessness.

. . .  at Home

We understand everyone may not be comfortable participating in an in-person sleep-out. But don’t let that keep you from joining us. Instead, sleep-out from your home or another safe and legal place on the same date and at the same time as the on-site sleep-out event.
