50/50 Raffle Is 100 Percent Awesome

Givable’s STL 50/50 Charity Raffle was a win-win for Youth In Need! Throughout the month of December, 50 percent of the sales from STL 50/50 Charity Raffle tickets benefited Youth In Need, with the other half going to one lucky winner. What we didn’t know is that Givable had a huge surprise in store for Pat Holterman-Hommes, Youth In Need’s CEO, when she attended a check presentation earlier this month. The winner of the raffle, Bill Hardie with Keystone Construction Company, donated all of his winnings back to Youth In Need, making the total donation $16,526!

Holiday Light Display Shines for Youth In Need

The Koenemann family turned their home into an eye-catching holiday light display for Youth In Need last month. The display, which took 350 hours to install, featured holiday greetings, Santa, reindeer and even a Stanley Cup—all set to music. The family asked passersby to donate to Youth In Need and pledged to match donations received throughout the month. In total, the Koenemann family and community combined to raise more than $28,000 to support programs and services!
